Meet Gene Gonzalez
I grew up in Euless, Texas in the 1970s, shaped by movies, music, sports, and imagination. Seeing Star Wars in a theater in 1977 sparked a lifelong love of science fiction, fantasy, storytelling, and the worlds we create through sound and performance.
My childhood was filled with Star Wars figures, Micronauts, Dallas Cowboys games with my dad, John Williams soundtracks, 1970s rock, big band music, and later, a lifelong love of Rush, hard rock, and heavy metal. I was also a band kid through middle school and high school, where marching band taught me timing, discipline, teamwork, and how one person’s part contributes to a larger performance.
In high school, I earned the morning announcer job, one of my first experiences using my voice to connect with an audience. Later, I entered corporate America and built a career working with professional teams, learning how to communicate clearly, collaborate, and deliver under pressure.
Today, I bring all of that into my voiceover work: imagination, musicality, professionalism, and a real appreciation for how the right voice can help a message land.
